zephrynZephryn Conte MA, President and Founder of Environarts, Inc.®, is a nationally published author and speaker and a transformational educator and artist. She incorporated Environarts as a ‘school without walls’ with a vision of providing multi-aged learners with educational experiences not available in most academic or business environments. Her dedication to educational innovation, human and environmental health, social justice, and individual and community growth is evidenced by her long track record of service to individuals and organizations nation-wide and abroad. Ms. Conte is a pioneer in the use of hands-on creative mediums for training adults and children. She is expert in multiple intelligence development, stress reduction, diversity and conflict resolution education, creative arts education, and several meta-physical energy healing modalities. From this comprehensive framework the integrative programs of Environarts have emerged as a ”curriculum” for educational reform and global leadership. 

Ms. Conte is a contributing author in Schools with Spirit, Nurturing the Inner Lives of Children and Teachers, [Beacon Press]; and co-authored The Art In Peacemaking, [US Justice Dept.] a national program reportavailable on line at www.arts.gov/pub/ArtinPeacemaking.pdf. (Click to open link) She has played key roles in several educational initiatives, developing programs and curriculum nationwide for The US Justice Department; The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA); the National Center for Conflict Resolution Education; Educators for Social Responsibility; the National Resolving Conflict Creatively Program.  

Ms. Conte is also a published composer and musician [ASCAP, NARAS] and a former dancer now offering movement healing instruction. She has been honored with special music awards from ASCAP and The International Peace Music Initiative, has been nominated twice for Arizona State Governor’s awards in Education and the Arts, and her compositions have appeared on the air and in educational, commercial and live venues. She is a published performance poet, Cayenne, [Fly By Night Press, NY] and dedicates her creative gifts to the purpose of upliftment, transformation and healing. 

Ms. Conte’s commitment to provide both people and organizational communities with ideologies that can be used as resources for developing excellence has identified her internationally as a motivational and inspirational leader. RoxyRoxy Rocker is the Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for Environarts Inc. She has a way with words and with people, and her enthusiasm brings an excitement to projects that is contagious. Roxy is an award winning community leader with a flair for building relationships, planting seeds and being creative with branding ideas.  She was honored in 2005 as one of the Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award Recipients, and has served on numerous organizational boards.

 Roxy’s brings a background in early childhood education and an extensive background in social services to the Environarts table. Her understanding and experience with government systems, particularly in her “niche market” area of Disability Inclusion Services has distinguished her as one of the nation’s leaders in the field – recently speaking at the National Convention on Inclusion in Alexandria, VA. Roxy has been the lead coordinator for a variety of community events likeThe City of Phoenix Ability Counts Luncheon; The National Wheelchair Basketball Tournaments; The US Quad Rugby Tournaments; andAmericorps - the domestic version of the Peace Corps, and utilizes her skills in the many ways that she supports Environarts’ community building activities. 

 Roxy’s record of community service has recently been acknowledged by her appointment to the Arizona Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism. It is with deep gratitude that she joins Zephryn Conte in the work of Environarts; and it brings her great joy to be able to share her passion for education, arts and spirituality with an organization that is dedicated to creating successful communities.
